HISEPT OPA is a high-level disinfectant for reusable medical devices, patient-care equipment, heat-sensitive dental and endoscopic instruments. This product contains ortho-phthalaldehyde 0.575% as a disinfection agent, with fast-acting and broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity. It eliminates virtually all recognized pathogenic microorganisms on medical devices, includ- ing all steam and heat-sensitive semi-critical instruments.

100 g HISEPT OPA contains:

0.575 g ortho–phthalaldehyde

Auxiliary ingredients:

Chelating agents
Buffering agent
Corrosion inhibitors
Deionized water

Immerse clean device completely into the ready–to–use HISEPT OPA, filling all lumens and eliminating bubbles, then cover the tank for at least 10 minutes. Remove device from the solution and rinse thoroughly with clean water.

The disinfection tank shall always be covered with a lid. If the solution is kept in a closed container, it will be reusable for up to 14 days.
In case of contact with skin and eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Keep out of reach of children and unaware persons.
Store between +5°C and + 35 °C and away from direct sunlight
Contact with Ortho–Phthalaldehyde solution may stain exposed skin or clothing. It is recommended to use nitrile or butyl rubber gloves. When using latex gloves, the user should use double gloves or change single gloves frequently.
