HISEPT SEPTOSTERILE is a high-level disinfectant for reusable medical devices, patient-care equipment, heat-sensitive dental and endoscopic instruments. This product contains glutaraldehyde 2.4% as a disinfection agent, with fast-acting and broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity. It eliminates virtually all recognized pathogenic microorganisms on medical devices, including all steam and heat-sensitive semi-critical instruments.

100 g HISEPT SEPTOSTERILE contains:

2.4 g glutaraldehyde

Auxiliary ingredients:

Surfactant
Buffering agent
Corrosion inhibitors
Essence
Dye
Deionized water

Cleaning process: Visible dirt must be thoroughly cleaned from medical devices before disinfection with HISEPT SEPTOSTERILE. Refer to the reusable device manufacturer’s labeling for additional instructions on disassembly, decontamination, cleaning and leak testing of the equipment.

Disinfection: Immerse clean device completely into the ready–to–use HISEPT SEPTOSTERILE, filling all lumens and eliminating bubbles and cover the tank for at least 10 minutes. Remove device from the solution and rinse thoroughly with clean water.

The disinfection tank shall always be covered with a lid. If the solution is kept in a closed container, it will be reusable for up to 28 days.
In case of contact with skin and eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Keep out of reach of children and unaware persons.
Store between +5°C and + 35 °C and away from direct sunlight.
